We are currently at the scene of a train crash near London Rd, Salisbury. Approx 50 firefighters from both @DWFireRescue & @HantsIOW_fire are working with partners from @wiltshirepolice, @swasFT and @networkrail at this major incident. Will update as we have more information.

- #CanfordHeath: the fire is now surrounded and under control. Please be aware that the road closures will remain in place and whilst our presence at this incident will be reducing, a number of resources will remain on scene overnight checking for hotspots.
- Over 100 firefighters this evening dealing with large heath fire on #Ferndown Common. Believed 80 hectares of heath alight. Please avoid the area as crews are extremely busy.

- CFO Ben Ansell during today’s press conference @DWFireRescue HQ in Salisbury. Ben paid tribute to the professionalism & dedication of all emergency services. Ben went on to say “I would like to say how incredibly proud I am of my firefighters and other members of my staff”.
- Fantastic work tonight at Cranborne. Despite damage to thatched roof, firefighters successfully avoided significant fire damage to the rest of the property and worked hard to salvage all of the owners possessions! Scaling down attendance in next hour or so. Great Job 👍
