Todd Phillips doesn't want to label 'JOKER 2' a musical. "Most of the music in the movie is really just dialogue. It’s just Arthur not having the words to say what he wants to say, so he sings them instead." (via: variety.com/2024/film/feat…) - I really miss this type of dialogue in kids action cartoons, where you can tell that it was written by professional comic book writers, or at least people who are big fans of them. Dobson constantly went on about how their animation department was "useless", but what happened with Chesworth?
