For anyone who is curious, the way to understand how my views connect is to understand that I place a higher priority than most people on negative liberty rights, which for me are the basis of veganism, antinatalism, legalizing assisted suicide, and libertarian-leaning politics.

Using an example without confounders, if you flip a fair coin and it comes up heads 20 consecutive times, it still has only a 50% chance of coming up tails on the 21st flip.

Prior occurrences have absolutely no physical effect on the next flip. Eventually the distribution will normalize, but that has absolutely zero impact on the next flip.

I didn’t say anything about the next 20 to 100 flips. I said the distribution will normalize eventually, but that each single flip has exactly the same 50% of being heads. You seem to be claiming that the coin will be physically influenced by the previous results. Nonsense.

When I became vegan in 2003, I was so deluded about human psychology. I projected an independent-minded, moral psychology onto at least some family and friends, thinking that some of them just needed info and would become vegan. With the exception of my wife, I was wrong.

Yes, species membership is as irrelevant as race, sex, and other traits that we were born with and have no control over. Non-veganism is cultural psychopathy based on a cultural prejudice.
