Erika, Gavin, and I are happy to share the newest member of our family! Meet Samuel Cornelius who made us a family of four last Wednesday. Outside of a lack of consistent sleep, everyone in our household is doing well, and Gavin is enjoying his new role of big brother.

Northwestern did it. In overtime, the #1 Red Raiders defeat NCAA DI FCS Drake 27-24. It’s @GPACSports’s first win over an FCS school since October 17, 2009 when Sioux Falls beat North Dakota in Grand Forks 28-13.

I’m saddened to hear of the passing of legendary KTIV Sports Director Brad Pautsch after a lengthy battle with cancer. After watching him growing up, it was surreal to get the opportunity to work with him at KTIV and in the field. Such a wonderful man who was taken way too soon.

I am happy to announce that I have accepted a position as the new Sports Director at KLEM radio in Le Mars. I get started in the middle of May and will be ready to go for baseball and softball season. I can't wait to become a part of the Le Mars sports community!

Here’s the scene almost 10 minutes after the injury occurred late in the Council Bluffs AL vs Le Mars game. Its a right leg injury for Dix who is being taken out of the gym on a stretcher.
