Was talking with one of my professors once. He said he broke up with a girl in order to pursue his doctorate. By the time he finished she was married to someone else. It was the single greatest regret of his life and he’d never forgiven himself for itbreaking up with your gf in order to grind harder is a sacred rite that separates the boys from the men- This is not abnormal or bad. It’s been going on forever. Teenage girls are trying to come to grips with their bodies changing rapidly. Temporarily “opting out” of femininity (or at least performative femininity) while you figure out your relationship to it is normal and good
