- BREAKING: Michigan Democrats win back full control of the Legislature for the first time since 1983.
- BREAKING: Michigan court stops enforcement of state's 1931 near-total abortion ban, which could go back into effect if Roe v. Wade is overturned. It's an early court win for Planned Parenthood.
- Truly staggering. For another gov candidate, Michael Markey, just 4,430 of his 21,804 signatures were deemed valid. 17,374 were deemed as fraudulent.

- BREAKING LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Ex-Michigan Gov. Snyder charged with willful neglect of duty related to Flint water crisis.
- Breaking: Two notorious conservative operatives were charged Thursday with felonies in connection with false robocalls that aimed to dissuade residents in Detroit and other U.S. cities from voting by mail, Michigan's attorney general announced.
- Breaking: The Michigan Supreme rules 5-2 that the state's civil rights law prohibits discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. The majority says the ban on sex discrimination includes sexual orientation, rules in favor of same-sex couple that was denied wedding services.
- The state elections bureau determines mass fraud was perpetrated by 18 people who were paid to collect signatures for Craig. Almost 10,000 of his 21,000 were forged.
- WASHINGTON (AP) — The head of the Environmental Protection Agency has broken months of silence about his frequent premium-class flights at taxpayer expense, saying he needs to fly first class because of unpleasant interactions with other travelers.

- Replying to @DavidEggert00Jacob Wohl, 22, and Jack Burkman, 54, each face four felony counts in Detroit, including conspiring to intimidate voters in violation of election law and using a computer to commit crimes, Attorney General Dana Nessel said.
