    In 22 years covering the #Bears, not sure I’ve seen a head coach at Halas Hall more impressive than Ben Johnson was today in terms of command, confidence and eloquence. Winning a press conference means little but showing the ability to communicate matters—especially here and now.

    It sounds like piling on, but in Chicago it’s just difficult to watch on national TV as Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers look like a playoff team with an identity in Year 1 — knowing he was a coaching free agent last January. This is one of Ryan Poles’ biggest misses. #Bears

    In January 2013, Bears interviewed Bruce Arians--that season's NFL Coach of the Year--to replace Lovie Smith. Arians wanted job. Embraced challenge. Then-GM Phil Emery hired Marc Trestman instead--a historically bad blunder. Congrats to Bruce Arians, Super Bowl-winning coach.

    Classic. Stunning. Wow. Robbie Gould just gave #Bears fans their biggest playoff thrill in more than a decade, eliminating Packers at Lambeau with clutch, walk-off historic 45-yard FG in 13-10 win for 49ers. What a memory for Gould. What an upset. And what now for Aaron Rodgers?

    Vic Fangio coordinated what looked like a Super Bowl-caliber defense with the #Bears in 2018. That team wasn’t complete or ready to win. These Eagles are and this domination is courtesy of Fangio’s defense. What a great moment for a terrific, salt-of-the-earth guy. #SuperBowlLIX

    There's nothing ambitious or inspiring about #Bears bringing back Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy, nothing that says they're getting closer to Super Bowl or even know the way. It suggests they accept mediocrity, feel immune to external pressure and value money over progress. So Bears.
