This reality should not be overlooked, yet it continuously is. Israel did not initiate the conflict with Lebanon, neither on October 8th, 2023, nor on March 2nd, 2026. Rather, Israel was attacked from Lebanese soil by Hezbollah. Israel’s actions are a matter of self-defense
