Trump has now reaffirmed his plan to eliminate the U.S. Department of Education. For the record that department funds, among other things, all the special education and special needs program in public schools and public colleges in all 50 states.

- Trump has invited Canadian PM Trudeau to the U.S. Governor’s meeting. Trudeau should return the favor by inviting Trump to the Douglas Mental Health Institute in Quebec - a psychiatric hospital known for treating convicted criminals who have severe mental health issues.
- Just confirmed @SenTedCruz and his family flew to Cancun tonight for a few days at a resort they've visited before. Cruz seems to believe there isn't much for him to do in Texas for the millions of fellow Texans who remain without electricity/water and are literally freezing.
