- Both women and bears just want to be left alone, and men just can't seem to understand that.
- Why do people say to men "imagine if this were your daughter, your sister, or mother" instead of "imagine if this were you"?
- This bear scenario really epitomizes so much of men's problems: -Men assume women are stupid, all informed, and naive. -Men do not understand how dangerous/annoying men are to women. -Men want women to die with bear because she didn't pick him.
- Because they were sick of experiencing this.
Still kinda blows my mind that women fought for the right to experience this - Men continue to police other men on not being shitty enough humans.
- I agree. If you change the question to "if armed, would you rather encounter a bear or a man?" I bet a lot of women would change their answer. Women don't want to kill bears.
- This bear thing has shattered the narrative that women expect men to protect them. Men cling to this as THE reason that women need them: all their negative shit is balanced by that one time they think they'll protect us. But we just collectively announced this isn't the case.
- You ever notice that men will claim you interrupt them when in fact, you are just trying to finish what you were saying before they interrupted?Have you ever tried to talk to a woman and noticed that she isn't listening, but just interrupts you?
- The "male loneliness epidemic" is simply accountability for men's misogyny. Leave them alone, and maybe they will learn.
- Replying to @DavidGarvi1 and @Kearabile_No, men are an emotional burden for everyone around them.
- In terms of this argument "men built the world by themselves so women should be grateful" (false btw), how were girls supposed to build and invent when they were married off and pregnant at 13? And, pregnant again at 14. And, again at 15. In repeat. And, then dead by 23.
- Men do not want sexual coercion to be considered rape because then most men would be rapists.
