The 2026 Childminding Development Grant supports childminders to purchase toys, childcare equipment, safety equipment, inclusion equipment and materials related to the arts and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths).This continued investment reflects the Minister’s ongoing commitment to the National Action Plan for Childminding 2021-28. The online public survey is now open for submissions (from 10 June 2026) and will close at 5pm on 10 July 2026. It takes about 10 to 30 minutes to complete and is anonymous and entirely voluntary.
