    Those that know me well know my # 1 priority after God & family is raising $$$ for kids vs cancer ! This video by ⁦@TheVFoundation⁩ tells u why!No child should go thru what I have the past 4 years vs multiple cancers I am 86 but no child should be battling that monster.

    Need rest before reporting to Mass General Hospital for surgery on my vocal cords at 7:30 AM. My biggest fear due to my age is the anesthesia .Let’s face it for me tomorrow is my NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP 🙏🙏🙏 success will get me at courtside & that is the best medicine I can get .

    Dr Rick Brown just notified me with my results of my major Pet Scan & told me news I wish EVERY cancer patient can hear . He said “Dick u have gone from being in remission to being CANCER FREE” ! Thank u to ALL of YOU that have sent me 🙏🙏🙏 .

    It was RING THE BELL TIME ! Yes it was a tough 7 months but it was super hearing Dr Brown @SMHCS say that I have zero cancer currently .I was inspired daily by the famous words of my late buddy Jimmy V “Don’t Give up DON’T EVER GIVE UP!” @amyuf @jksports @ESPNPR

    OMG ALL THE PRAYERS many of u have sent have been answered as DR Brown who heads my cancer TEAM called & said PET SCAN came back that NO CANCER is showing. I feel like a coach playing for the Final 4 has a PTPer hit a shot at buzzer. My MARCH MADNESS starts with a W baby !

    Today has been a very emotional day for me & my family .I want to THANK all of u that have sent texts & also those on social media for caring . I ‘m so appreciative of ur 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️. Dr Brown informed me that even though NO CANCER in scan the term is that I am in REMISSION .

    I’m asking my Twitter family a favor pls give me 🙏🙏🙏that I have success tomorrow when I go got Sarasota Memorial Hospital for my CHEMOTHERAPY treatments . They plan to increase the level I will receive /PRAYERS work ! Thanks so much to all of u that have reached out to me .

    My medical team told me as I left the hospital Friday after my chemo treatment vs Lymphoma that Sunday could be a rough day with side effects . They have been right as I have just been laying on the couch watching football & aching all over .Need ur 🙏🙏🙏 CANCER SUCKS !

    I’m in recovery after my surgery & the surgeon Dr Vosler removed the Lymph node that was cancerous & surrounding lymph nodes which he sent for a pathology report he stated & was pleased with what took place . Once again THANKS for all of your prayers 🙏🙏🙏

    My report on the Biopsy of the Lymph Node in my neck has arrived & it is cancerous . With all the 🙏🙏🙏 I have received & the loving support of my family,friends & @espn colleagues I will win this battle .🙏🙏🙏 surgery on Tues. will be a success . Thanks for All the prayers.

    Just rec’d GREAT NEWS vs Lymphoma from Dr Brown / he said that after analyzing by bloodwork that I’m clear to RING THE BELL.This is MY @MarchMadnessMBB CHAMPIONSHIP. THANKS to my medical TEAM @SMHCS & Dr Brown @espn STAFF + my family & everyone that has sent me 🙏🙏🙏 & ❤️❤️❤️

    Just making final prep for game @espn 10 EST # 1 GONZAGA - #2 UCLA - to be honest on Oct 12 when given the cancer diagnosis I never thought that I would be at courtside tonight / ur 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️ have helped so so much . To ALL of u in any battle “Don’t ever believe in can’t”!
