LHMC, Ophtha dept started surgery for stage IV Retinopathy of Prematurity in preterm babies (1.6kg) to prevent disability among newborn babies. Dept is treating large number of ROP babies upto Stage III with Intravitreal Ranibizumab & Lasers coming from all over Delhi & NCR.

DRDO-Israel-COVID trial at LHMC. COVID-ONCO Centre began today. RT-PCR , Voice, Saliva and Breath Samples were collected. Photographs while being sampled for voice/saliva. The camp is open to all until next 10 days: 8.30 am to 6 pm. #MoHFW_INDIA #drharshvardhan

An exclusive COVID-19 INDOOR CARE UNIT with 19 beds including 5 Ventilator beds opened today at Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi in its newly constructed Oncology Block. #ladyhardingemedicalcollege

Work on 240 oxygen beds (incl. 80 ICU Beds) along with gas manifold has already started. Facility is coming up on 3/4 floor of IPD. It should be ready in 2 weeks & functioning. This work is being done by CBRI Roorkee with support of MoHFW & Dte GHS @MoHFW_INDIA @drharshvardhan
