00:00 - What happens in Washington if Trump wins? 🧵 I've worked in the Senate and conservative space in DC for over a decade. I'll tell you. 1. We have 4 years to save America. But, it's not really 4 years, it's more like 1.5 years for much of his agenda. Let me explain:
- 🧵The inside story of the Senate Leadership Election that MAY change the course of the nation. Most following this know by now that Thune won 29-24 on the second ballot. But, how did that happen? Many of my followers wanted Scott. But, we got historic wins here.
- This is because Alabama actually tracks and reports crime and California does not. Only 2% of law enforcement agencies in California reported crime stats in 2020 and 2021. Even where California cities do track crime, it is historically inaccurate.Alabama has 3X the homicide rate of California. Its murder rate is ranked third in the entire country. Stick to football, bro.
- Replying to @DissidentClintJD Vance delivered both. If donors are bullish on the right, you can expect to see more investment in our cause. This results in more potential for the right to win now and later. Key moments like the debate are not just about winning votes, but building momentum.
- Trump is right. When we have people coming in where nobody even speaks that language, it’s a serious problem. Here’s an example. I sat in a deposition back in 2012. Guatemalan defendant. Spoke the Mayan language Octet. No interpreters could be found. Eventually, they found aTrump: we have languages coming into our country we have nobody that even speaks those languages, they're truly foreign languages

- Replying to @DissidentClintP.S. I want to add that I'm very hopeful about the way Thune wants to run the Senate. He has the support of his conference for change. This is a great opportunity for Thune to be a total legend. I'm rooting for him to do it.
- Replying to @DissidentClint20. If the GOP holds to the reforms, the Senate will return to a place where Senators amend legislation. No more backroom deals. No more uniparty control. Do you understand what a huge win this is? We have returned to a regime with a real Senate. A republic, if you can keep it.
- Replying to @DissidentClintThese are people committed to saving the USA. But every cause on earth is seeking their help. Many donors, especially those in blue states like California, are keenly aware that it’s a risk to donate to right-wing causes.
- Replying to @DissidentClintIf the GOP is failure theater, they not only see their investment go *poof*, but could be targeted by the left. In that case, why not invest in other causes or save their money? It’s critical for them to see that the right not only has a shot at winning, but a FUTURE.
- Replying to @DissidentClint22. Here's what to watch for: make sure in 2025 legislative battles that Senators are offering amendments. Watch out for bills hidden until the last minute. If that happens, you need to make your voice heard at level 10000. Keep your Republic.
