Tony Mowbray on pitch at HT. Says he feels 'really emotional' as fans sing his name: 'It's been the toughest six months of my life. I'm just a lad from Redcar who gave his best in red & white. To have so many people care so much about my life is humbling & means the world to me'
Hope Warnock will be remembered fondly. Kept Boro up and for the first half of last season I thought he had every chance of taking them up. Real shame fans weren't in last season and that this season hasn't gone to plan. Signed off with a record, a good point and a yellow card.
Second spell not as magical as he'd have hoped when he re-signed but I hope Downing is remembered as a #Boro great in years to come. 400+ appearances, his role in UEFA Cup run, dropped to Championship & won promotion with hometown club, 35 England caps. A class act.
❤️ Tony Mowbray after his #Boro return last night: 'I walk through the car park and dads are pushing their six year old sons towards me. It's the dad or granddad even who remembers. People here are really good to me. I have a lot to thank this club for'
"Jesus, what a goal!" 😂
Tony Mowbray reckons he could still find the top corner like he did for #Boro vs #NCFC back in 1988. ⚽️🔥
Not a bad strike from the boss, and his commentary is even better!

Asked Woodgate whether Fry would get his head turned by the Premier League interest.
"Dael? Dael Fry? He's from Berwick Hills, mate. He's a proper Boro lad. He won't get excited about that."
