    As a citizen, I would like to request @PMOIndia to consider awarding the Bharat Ratna to Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw. For us soldiers, serving & veterans, he has always been the benchmark. He is the epitome of all that is good in the Armed Forces. We walk in his shadow.

    #MyDadMyHero 1971 was Navy'war!This day remains etched in memory as it was the day we lost Khukti!We feel blessed that Dad made it back to us through every war!This photo was taken at the 60th anniversary of my parents!Still the salty old Sea Warrior! God bless you,Dad!

    Happy birthday Daddy Today we celebrate 89 yrs of a life well lived.He battled partition and went on to NDA to serve the country through the Goa Op '61 and the wars of '62,'65 and'71.Has survived through a craniotomy & motivates us to live life without any complaints or regrets.
