    What does the US administration want Tigrayans and Tigray authorities to do, really? Sit and watch the people starve to death until regimes in Addis Ababa and Asmara say enough Tigrayans have died, and Tigray kneels and submits to be ruled by viceroys of Asmara and Addis Ababa? 1

    People are starved to death. Thousands are in mass detention. Thousands in refugee camps, millions displaced. Brutal medieval siege choking Tigray out of existence. Abiy's Ethiopia is the epitome of war, death, displacement, detention, extortion, and impoverishment of Tigrayans.

    Tigray defends itself. No one has done anything for Tigray. Neither the West nor the East. As a matter of fact, some western and other powers have joined the genocidal war on Tigray- deploying their technology or through third parties supporting the regimes in Addis and Asmara.

    Dear Nobel Committee: @NobelPrize @NobelPeaceOslo Your statement brings to mind Pontius Pilate washing his hands of responsibility. Your award came when the war on Tigray was being secretly hatched; and when the Asmera-Addis-Mogadishu axis of instability was in full swing. 1

    Peace is what we all crave. We need the fighting to stop right now; we want the siege to be lifted in its entirety right now; adequate humanitarian relief be guaranteed right now, and non-Tigrayan forces to leave Tigray right now; we want the negotiations to commence right now.

    The history of Tigray cannot begin and end with this genocide; genocidaires rarely win. With this genocide, a new history of Tigray begins. This genocide will be the frame and the starting point that determines Tigrayans and their future military, political and social stand.

    Tragic to see a relapse to a preventable military offensive against Tigray by Ethiopia. This fresh military offensive is disastrous for the people of Tigray, who have already gone through unimaginable suffering, for the peoples of Ethiopia and for peace in the Horn of Africa. 1

    The siege is killing people, so is aerial bombardments and drones attacks. No medicine for bedridden patients. No food aid for the needy. No access to banking services. Mass detention, extortion, and pauperisation of Tigrayans. The extermination of Tigrayans is in full action.
