Whilst @TurneyBurbage residents associations keep on complaining to @MPSDulwichVllge about children cycling on pavements, they don’t pause to think about why. 🧐 Why don’t children cycle in their road and why are they permitted to cycle on the pavement on Burbage? 🤔 A 🧵 (1/6)

Driver of HEZ3926 overtakes multiple cyclists into the path of oncoming cyclists causing emergency stop - Burbage Road, Dulwich 29/6/2021. The cyclist should have submitted this to @metpoliceuk as the driver would benefit from a safer driving course. @MPSDulwichVllge

“Shut your mouth and keep walking” was the response when a mum asked the female driver of WX22REU to not park on the pavement when they were picking up from Dulwich Village Infants. We’re told the head teacher @dulwichinfants has been sworn at when she’s challenged drivers.

A driver evading ANPR cameras on the Elmcourt Road/ Rosemead prep school street this morning by illegally covering his number plates with tape. He kept it on and drove all the way through Herne Hill. Front and back covered.

The driver of an SUV has rolled their car over onto its roof on Croxted Road. This is a 20mph speed limit. Expect delays this afternoon. Hopefully nobody was hurt by this driver. Remarkable how modern SUVs are so much more dangerous and prone to rolling onto their roof.

⚠️The bmw driver of MV70CGU crashed into the new pedestrian crossing in Dulwich Village, demolishing a traffic light and blocking the crossing. This is a 20mph limit and outside a school. Remember, it is council tax payers who pay for this damage. Not the driver’s insurer.

😱Children on bikes are screaming as they are close passed by a driver racing along Hillsboro school street this morning. ⚠️Failing to give way and driving through a school street closure. This was undoubtably safer with barriers at either end, now ineffective £ ANPR cameras.

Driver of SUV LM18ZKO was put back on course by the bollard outside Kings College Hospital, in London. The sight lines on these SUVs are so poor, more junctions need bollards to protect against these drivers… @WorldBollard
