On this day in 1891 Dumbarton and @RangersFC shared the first ever Scottish Football League championship. The teams drew 2-2 in a playoff at Cathkin Park in Glasgow after they finished the season level on 29 points. Dumbarton's goals were scored by John Miller and John Taylor.
