It hit me earlier today that we ran the largest offline open-bracket gaming tournament in history this weekend, & we did it on time. I get a bit emotional about this & I cannot overstate the talents of our Tournament Staff, which pulls from events across the world.- "CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS TO OTHER PEOPLE'S ISSUES." - church sign on 19th ave, San Francisco
- Women don’t stop coming to events, pursuing hobbies we enjoy, etc because of “just one incident”. We bow out because of a lifetime of incidents, a multitude of the same disheartening behavior, and the dismissal of our experiences.
- I’ve watched a lot of women enter the FGC as players & TOs, get shit on, & eventually step away. This is part of a systematic problem in gaming communities. The FGC is not an exception. This is not just an OW thing.
- Some upgrades to this year’s COMBO BREAKER experience, courtesy of Pheasant Run: - 2 ATM’s now - ice cream shop will be open! - restaurant will be open - full capacity AC - multiple bar/consession areas in event areas Really excited to see our event spread to the whole resort!
