    I am ecstatic to announce that I am joining @DanaFarber as the Clinical and Translational Director of the #iTOX Service. I am proud of all we have been able to accomplish for patients utilizing the tools of #immunotherapy from my time @theNCI, & I will continue drug dev efforts!

    No, there won’t be herd immunity. The virus is endemic. We will learn to do better however. One thing is already clear: vaccine mandates work! We need more of them.

    You are referring to the old Gleevec price. All the drugs in Cuban’s efforts are off-patent. If you google generic Gleevec, you will see that the prices online are in a similar range in price. The $9K figure was the price on patent, and after years of price increases.

    Pretty amazing finding - new analysis from Scotland shows NO CASES OF CERVICAL CANCER in women vaccinated at 12 or 13 years of age. The HPV vaccine has been remarkably effective. Exactly what was expected, but nevertheless fantastic news. academic.oup.com/jnci/advance-a…

    It’s not a terrible analogy. Actually, the fields of cancer research and amelioration of infertility can benefit from more cross-talk and fertilization of new ideas. This is how science works. Step 1: Observation!
