    Polls have now closed in the biggest set of elections since the 2024 general election. Voting took place at over 17,000 polling places, and over 25,000 candidates stood for election. We've published a statement from our Chief Exec, Vijay Rangarajan, here:

    Intimidating or aggressive campaigning near polling stations is not allowed. Campaigners or candidates must not campaign near polling stations in a way that could be seen as aggressive or intimidating e.g. large groups of supporters carrying banners, or vehicles with loudspeakers

    Broadcasters on TV and radio must not discuss or analyse election issues once polling stations have opened, up until 10pm when voting finishes.

    Flexible voting pilot. If you’re voting in Milton Keynes, you don’t have to vote at your designated polling station. You can vote at the voting hub at Midsummer Place if it’s more convenient for you.
