- A month ago, my friend texted me to tell me she'd framed the IDS from the week our sorority won Little 500 and hung it in her apartment. This week, since @IUMediaSchool announced plans to cut the @idsnews weekly paper, I've been thinking a lot about the front pages that
- A staffer at the Biddle Hotel just confirmed to me over the phone that all guests have been safely evacuated and IUPD is handling the situation.
- Half my high school friend group ended up going to IU, the other half to Purdue. We’ve been friends for over 10 years. The bloodbath currently going on in the group chat tonight might end that all.
- A Dunedin man fired 30 rounds from his AR-15 at someone he believed to be an intruder. In actuality, the man was his pool cleaner. Under Florida's Stand Your Ground law, the homeowner will not face charges.
- Today was my first day as an intern at the @TB_Times! I'm thrilled to be spending the summer in St. Petersburg covering breaking news. I can't wait to get to know this gorgeous community and tell some stories along the way! Obligatory first-day-of-work photo I sent my Mom:
- Time for some personal news! I'm incredibly honored and excited to be interning at @TB_Times this summer as an @IUMediaSchool Poynter Scholar. Although it's still a while away, I cannot wait to get started and learn so much from the amazing team in St. Pete!

- The Inspire campaign has been disqualified from the IUSG Election, the IUSG Election Commission said. Story to come for @idsnews.
- Many wondered why the IUSG Election Commission did not release the preliminary election results Friday night. Turns out they received five complaints against the Inspire campaign. They will investigate four. My latest for @idsnews:
- As IU department chairs and provosts meet inside the IMU, graduate workers protest outside. Security is stationed inside, between the windows outlooking the protest and the door to the meeting. Follow @idsnews for #IUGradStrike coverage.
