This USAID thing is like when you notice you are consuming electricity units at an absurd rate, so you disconnect the entire thing, only for your niegbours to complain that their fridge went off.

A significant portion of the corruption in Nigeria is driven by horny men.

A good percentage of the corruption in Nigeria is servicing things like this.

Lagos has been building one 10km light rail line for almost 15 years but it is China they want to copy social media censorship from.

The thing to take note of is that, beyond the sophistication, these are degenerate people. When they come tomorrow to talk down on your conservative beliefs, mock them.

Nigeria is what it is today because Iwobi pointing this out will be considered a worse offence than putting our national team in this place before a crucial World Cup Qualifier.

Back to this... People of Makoko will have a bit of hope after a visit from the Deputy Secretary General of the UN. Meanwhile she came to do a photo op for the climate agenda she wants to secure funding for. Funding that will not reach Makoko as usual.

During my visit to Makoko coastal community in Lagos, I saw first hand the urgency to address sea level rise. Adaptation funding for innovative solutions is key.

This makes it sound like we had Maps and they took it. We didn't. They made maps of the places they discovered as advanced people do. Even now, 300 years later, is there up to date readily available geographic data at country, state and local level?

It's why gist like this irritate me. This nonsense is downstream of misappropriated funds. Literally the blood of Nigerians.

If the 1m people who tuned into Hallelujah Challenge yday were to stop and not attend tonight or for the rest of the programme, would Nigeria become better in a week? A month? A year? Ever? What is this thing that once Christians gather to pray you people get offended?

There are certain things you see Nigerian men doing to get certain women... And you imagine that Nigerian man with access to public funds.

The problem with democracy is that you end up being "we" with people who have made terrible decisions...
