- The City of Memphis has watched Penny grow for years. Penny has overcome so many different types of adversities but one thing that I can truly say, The City of Memphis supports Penny 💯% even when some in the local media/journalists has tried to shine a negative light. 😮
- Replying to @MarchMadnessMBBThis coach just won me over as a fan! How can you not like this guy? He has an amazing personality with a passionate heart for his team! They will go down in history as a #16 seed beating a #1 seed. You have already accomplished a lot this season! Proud of you!
- ESPN gave the Memphis Tigers basketball team a 12.7 percent chance only to beat Texas A&M on the road. So much for their expertise and credibility. I love when Penny and the team prove them wrong.
- Hope for a successful surgery. The City of Memphis miss you brother. 🙏
- Nice Memphis road win!! First they say, “The Tigers are winning but by how much?” Then They say,”They ranked #13 in the Ap Poll but what about the Net?” This was definitely a STATEMENT game by Penny and Players! One thing for certain, the Tigers are CONSISTENTLY WINNIG!!
- I really underestimated how impactful Caleb was to this Memphis team until his injury. I miss his athleticism, defensive skills, and his will to get to the basket and score. The team never adjusted fully after he went down. It’s amazing how one player can make or break ur season.
- This was one of my most PROUDEST moments in Memphis Basketball history. I remember this moment like it was yesterday! The loyal fans still SUPPORT Penny & the Players 100%. I will never forget that Penny was there for Memphis when others left (Calipari) Memphis to rot! 💪

- Memphis has got to have the BEST fan base in the country! If you are being recruited by Memphis, after seeing how much the City supports Penny and the players, how can anyone so no to playing for Memphis! Absolutely amazing!
- Memphis 112 - Wichita St. 86 Over half the teams in the AP poll rankings loss this week. It’s going to be interesting Monday am when the new AP poll rankings arrive! The AP Voters have some serious decisions to make. Memphis definitely deserves a top 10 ranking. 💪 Victory!
- ESPN gave Memphis a 17.3% chance of beating FAU this weekend. That should be enough MOTIVATION within itself to beat the brakes off this FAU team. Either the so called computer experts must have forgotten who Memphis was or just plain disrespectful.
- Memphis is 15-4. I refuse to believe that is a true reflection of who we are. Outside of the Villanova loss, the Tigers should be 18-1. I am confident that Penny will help the players refocus and reach their optimal potential as they continue to make the City of Memphis proud!
