- Am I the only person that accepts each new actor as the Doctor immediately from their first episode, because they all just fit it so well, and is excited to see them grow?I instantly liked Christopher Eccleston. I warmed to David Tennant after a few episodes. Matt Smith was during the Angels 2-parter. Capaldi took most of Series 8, whilst Jodie wasn't until Series 12. Ncuti joins Eccleston. I can't wait for May.
