- We welcomed back jockey Jacky Davis today. While still a few weeks away from riding, she says she's feeling better each and every day and we can't wait to see her back in the winners circle.
- Legendary rider Frankie Dettori will make his first appearance ever at Finger Lakes on Monday to ride in the $98,912 Lady Finger stakes and $131,892 Aspirant stakes. First post on Monday is 1:00 pm.
- Two wins already on the day for Jockey Jackie Davis. She now has 804 in her riding career.
- It was a two win day for a smiling jockey Jacky Davis.
- We would like to thank Matt Dinerman for helping us out in the booth this week as he pinch hits for track announcer Anthony Stabile.
- It's a happy Irad Ortiz Jr. as he wins the $156,000 New York Derby aboard heavily favored Train the Trainer for trainer Rob Atras. The son of Dialed In ran the one mile and a sixteenth in 1:44.66 and returned $3.10.
- Jockey Tammi Piermarini wins race three with favorite Tasty Wave. That was career win 2,562 for the New England Hall of Famer.
- Great to see jockey Tammi Piermarini back in the Winner Circle guiding Dr. Blarney to victory in race three. Welcome back Tammi !
- It was a sweep of the late double and a riding triple, all on trainer Mike Ferraro runners, for Sofia Vives.
- We are sad to announce the passing of Les Hulet, a 6-time leading FL rider and the first FL jockey to reach 3,800 victories. We'll host a memorial race & a moment of silence in Mr. Hulet's honor on 9/29. Condolences to his family from all of us at Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack.
- The 2025 jockey footrace was epic. At the wire it was Reylu Gutierrez who edged clear late for the victory with Keiber Coa finishing a good second and Andre Worrie finishing a close third. We thank all the riders that participated in the annual fundraiser for the PDJF.
- A tribute to the great Funny Cide will be part of our July 4th at the races festivities. Both jockey Jose Santos and managing partner of Sackatoga Stable, Jack Knowlton, will be on hand to meet and greet guests.
