Named in honor of legend @usainbolt, Bolt Neurons (BPNs) drive fly sprints. Recently discovered by @SalilBidaye and published in @NeuroCellPress pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32822613/, FlyWire analysis revealed 4 subtypes that may play a role in walking initiation & velocity control.
