- Briere just stated the following on the NBCSN Philly broadcast about the trade: "The cap flexibility was to hard to pass up, to free up cap space for the center we’re looking for." That puts an emphasis on the fact the Flyers may br entering the "building" phase. @FlyersKnitty
- Replying to @simmonssteveThe "xxxxx" is the right move that way it won't be forgotten what he did. It will always be there as a reminder of what occurred and how the whole situation was handled so terribly.

- Michkov coming over will help the Flyers attract talent. People forget until the year of the draft, and all of the Russian prospect discourse Bedard/Michkov were considered 1/2 in the 2023 draft. Having an elite talent like Michkov will help PHI draw players in. @FlyersKnitty

- Interesting tidbit from Trotz here. NSH was also trying to trade up to 12 to select Nesbitt. Seems as though many teams valued his size/skillset in the mid-teens of this Draft. Obviously, PHI is banking on Zegras returning to his prior form but, realistically you gave up a 4th liner, 2nd round pick, and 4th rounder.
