37 years ago tonight, we won our 10th game in a row. With a break in the schedule, we went out to celebrate. None of us would ever be totally the same again. Please drive safely, and don't drink and drive. RIP Pelle Lindbergh: our goalie, our friend.
- Happy retirement, Mike "Doc" Emrick; a true living legend in hockey broadcasting. We were honored to have you call @NHLFlyers games locally for 13 years and nationally for long beyond that!
- A very sad 33-year anniversary.... forever in our hearts. RIP Pelle.

- Humboldt Broncos crash survivor Ryan Straschnitzki was our special guest at this year's Alumni golf event, and this remarkable young man is an inspiration to us all. We named Ryan an honorary member of the Flyers Alumni Team.

- Ed Van Impe -- the second captain in @NHLFlyers history, a blueline stalwart on two Cup teams and later a TV broadcaster -- passed away on Tuesday night. He was surrounded by family at his side. Ed was 84. Condolences to the Van Impe family, teammates and friends.
