Hey everyone, we encountered an unexpected issue during our maintenance and we need to extend downtime at least 8 additional hours. We apologize for making everyone wait longer than usual to drop into Chapter 5 Season 2 of Battle Royale. The team is working through this as
- We’re continuing the work to bring Fortnite back online. Players will be able to pre-download an updated version of v29.00 in approximately 5 hours. We’re grateful for your patience and can’t wait for everyone to be able to jump in. ⚡💛
- We think the Storm may be up to something... Get ready for Chapter 2 - Season 3. Downtime begins at 2 AM ET (06:00 UTC)!
- Downtime for Chapter 3 Season 2 will start at 3:00 AM ET (07:00 UTC) with matchmaking being disabled 30 minutes prior.

- We've heard some feedback from players saying that the storm is harder to escape since Chapter 5 Season 1 launch, so we've decided to make some balance adjustments: ⛈️ Storm Circles 1 & 2 now take 20 seconds longer to close. We'll continue to monitor our Storm data and make
- We're still working to recover from the overwhelming attendance from the first event showtime. We're taking Fortnite offline temporarily while we work to set up encore shows in a few hours. More info on our next showtimes coming soon.

- No more ‼️ We fixed an issue with the Emote Wheel and it now defaults to your Locker selection again.
- We’ve made adjustments to some of the new items in Chapter 3! ☑️ Increased the accuracy of the Striker Pump Shotgun. ☑️Slightly increased the fire rate of the Striker Pump Shotgun. ☑️ Decreased the amount of time it takes to pull out the Auto Shotgun. (1/2)
- Status: Galactus defeated! Thanks for your efforts. Fortnite is currently in a prep state for Chapter 2 - Season 5 (v15.00). Server downtime for the update begins December 2 at 12 AM ET (05:00 UTC) and is expected to run until approx. 4 AM ET (09:00 UTC). Stay tuned for updates.

- We have removed the Rail Gun and the Recon Scanner from competitive playlists. We'll let you know if there are additional updates to Competitive gameplay.
