    @dekker update: Sam is shooting 45.4% (54/119) from 3pt in the Turkish Super League, and 42% overall against all European competition for @TurkTelekom_SK 👀🎯 He’s most definitely a candidate for making his way back on an NBA Roster next year.

    Dec.-making drill for middle drives: -Rep starts when BH gets downhill - can finish against help-side D or kick out -On-ball D rotates to a perimeter player -Def rotation forces perimeter players to make simple dec.: if open, shoot - OR If D closes out on catch, make extra pass.

    With only 33 min of floor time in the preseason, @dekker was able to score a total of 23 pts on 9/16 shooting (5/8 from 3pt 🎯). 16 of those mins came against the Wizards where he sunk 18 pts. It’s hard to NOT give a player a roster spot with #’s like this in such a short stint.

    A quick update on @dekker - he's averaging 15.1 PPG while shooting 51% from the floor (41% from 3pt) in the Turkish Super League. His mechanics on his shot look great, his cuts look sharp, and is running the floor exceptionally well. Highlights from his last 5 games ⬇️⬇️

    @dekker is currently shooting 21-40 from 3pt (52.5%) thru 10 games 🎯 A few of the cues that were pinpointed this off-season were: 🔹wide feet 🔹not landing wide? stick the landing Sometimes if there’s a narrow landing, he’s trying to have bouncy feet to regain balance.

    After heavy prayer, I’ve made the decision to step away from coaching at Harrisonville HS. I’ve been given an opportunity to grow as a skills coach with @MokanBasketball. I’m excited and grateful for the chance to work with such an outstanding program.

    Highlights from @dekker last 6 games 👀 This season Sam is averaging 15ppg/8reb in the BCL, and 15.9ppg/6reb in the Turkish League. Side note: 3pt % are 49.3% in Turkish League, and 42% in the Champions league 🎯 Hard work WORKS 🤞🏼

    I have officially accepted a teaching position in Harrisonville where I will be the 4th & 5th grade PE teacher at McEowen Elementary & the Head Asst varsity basketball coach. All Pure Sweat training will STILL take place, & I will be branching out in the Harrisonville/KC Area.
