- Sadly some pain I felt recently in my right foot was a big cyst in my heel bone & with surgery needed we opted to fix my actual bad left ankle at the same time too! Tough times ahead but bring on the challenge. Grateful for those supporting me & the chance to be back stronger🤝
- Elation for some, heartbreak for others. During the pressure of a season which is still underway. Players are handling this & many other unseen battles & still stepping into the arena each week to compete. What you see on TV just scratches the surface. Warriors on & off court 🤝🏻
- So yesterday my mum and sister & her fiancée drove 4+ hours each to surprise me at a game of netball I wasn’t even playing in, they just wanted to give me a hug... I may or may not have cried. Injuries are rubbish but I’m grateful for all the amazing humans helping me out ❤️
- 5+ months later post injury & I’m buzzing that I’ve just ticked off my first contested netball session! Thanks @MavericksNpl u15s for letting me gatecrash your training... I don’t think my baby face looks too out of place?! 🎉🏐👶🏼
