    Personal news: After five seasons reporting on the Cowboys for The Dallas Morning News, I am stepping down and moving to Washington, D.C., for family reasons. Journalism was my childhood dream job. Having lived it for 15 years, I begin the search for a new challenge. Thank you.

    Ex-Cowboys WR Michael Irvin was visibly emotional when witness Bryn Davis delivered his account of what transpired Feb. 5 between Irvin and a woman at hotel lobby. Irvin said the incident has forced him to question how to address people who approach him in public.

    Didn't use this quote on Dec. 3 when Raiders WR Dwayne Harris said it. Will now. He scored a 99-yard punt return for TD tonight because he knew the NFL's rule book. "It helps to know the rules."

    Cowboys WR Amari Cooper turned down “significantly” more money from Redskins to remain in Dallas with hopes to win Super Bowl here, source said tonight. Dallas is where he wanted to be. He’s coming back on a five-year, $100 million contract.
