- My doctor, 2 mental health professionals, a surgeon, and Medicaid all thought my gender neutral top surgery was legitimate and a medical necessity. How did this happen?
- When I transitioned, I truly believed I was non-binary. Now I know I was struggling with mental illness and trauma around womanhood. If I could make that mistake as an adult, a child could, too.
- When I got my non-binary top surgery, I thought this was was well researched and documented After coming out as a detransioner, I was shocked I wasn't the only one- the lack of follow up and how experimental this is. I don't know how doctors have allowed it to get to this point
- After 20 years of talk therapy, I barely saw any improvement in my mental health. After 2 years of addressing my physical health, my mental health is the best it's ever been. We need to rethink how we approach mental health.
