- Now everybody knows that orcs pretty muxh originated from rhe works of Tolkien. I was watching the Disney adaptation of A Princess of Mars, John Carter, a few days ago. I had previously only read the book. And it struck me just how much our modern idea of an Orc is much 1/5
- #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #ttrpg Read them and read them again until you're reciting them from memory in your sleep. And then read them a dozen one times
- What do you think of in town encounters like thieves, rats, town guards. beggars, etc in a module, Yay or Nay?
- Over time, I've come to the conclusion that many d&d players, or more specifically, newer d&d players, aren't really fans of fantasy. Many are anime fans or critical role fans. They may have seen lotr or got, played wow, etc but they're not really fans of the genre itself.
