He is the fourth Chief Minister of Gibraltar to address the Committee, and has done so more often than any of his predecessors.He spoke about the generations of Gibraltarians who came before, from those evacuated in the war to those who lived through the closure of the frontier in 1969, and the generations still to come. "The times change. Our people will not. Our rights will not."
- Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia chaired the panel of adjudicators yesterday for the first Gibraltar Youth Parliament. He said that all the young people were impressive and that the future of Gibraltar was bright.
