It is with a profound sadness that I say that at 3:11 this morning our Nate died. As unexpected this soon, it was peaceful and both me and mum where there. Your love has been phenomenal. We love you with all our hearts, sleep well and dream big son ๐ #ForNate
- Iโve just given him over to the funeral directors to take away. Flanked by family either side kissing him, unable to speak. I made it my job to carry him out the house. I wasnโt having him rolled out. That one last time, the most important work. I feel empty and drained ๐คฆโโ๏ธ

- One thing that weโll always remain โgratefulโ for is that Natty was never aware of his own mortality. He never had the questions of โwhy me?โ He never got old enough, all he wanted to do was just play. Forever 5. #ForNate ๐
- Wouldโve been this little manโs seventh birthday on Saturday. Be our second one without him and so heโll forever be five. Doing the responsible thing with mum and running away to York for the weekend coming. Weโll remember him but try and keep the memories light. #CCAM ๐๏ธ

- Got back from seeing him. It was nice. He looked content. Peaceful. I paid the love forward but if thereโs potential for an afterlife, he knew. I gave him a few of his favourite toys. There will be more of them by the end. #ForNate

- Woke up this morning, alright. Slightly sore head. Slightly weird that we didnโt have 1000 syringes to prepare before the day began. Watched loads of videos of him last night. Some cancer, some not. Weโd made him really happy regardless. Going to see him shortly, canโt wait x
- His last day alive on Earth three years ago now. How the time has inched and then in the same breath sped away. Haunted by what ifs and warmed by what I had. As today rolls into tomorrow, at 3:11 am, heโll have been gone for 3 years. I miss him dearly, Iโll love him forever
- Tributes have been paid to five-year-old Nate Gidman - a Tranmere Rover's fan who passed away from a brain tumour. He was a mascot for the team last December. There will be a collection at tomorrow nightโs game against Swindon Town in his honour. @TranmereRovers @Official_STFC
00:00 - September is Childhood Cancer awareness month. Itโs also the month we got his diagnosis (17th, 2020) and finishes with his birthday at the end of it (30th). I should be planning to load his room with balloons, instead for the first time in my life, heโs not here.
- He shouldโve been starting Year One todayโฆ tough on the mindset this one. Big part of me is grateful that we got his first day and a good few more weeks. Heโd be silent in class and then chatter away about it at home. Was a great school, the uniform went to a new starter ๐
