- This is such a common mythology spewed by transphobes. Trans people are not an ideological collective trying to erase the idea of biological sex. Trans people are 0.6% of the population whose gender identity doesn’t match to their assigned sex, and they are just trying to live.If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth.
- It's astonishing how much the UK has changed. Only 5 years ago I was doing a drag show for kids in Edinburgh and taking the tube to drag shows. Today, the show would be picketed, and there's no way I'd ever take public transport in drag, I've been attacked too many times now.
- Wtf is wrong with the UK? This whole Stormzy story proves how the British media believes it is more of a crime to be called racist than to actually be systemically racist itself. Britain was built on the back of colonialism- this included slavery and genocide. Britain is racist.
- This is extraordinary. After suffering such a horrific homophobic & misogynistic attack, the survivor of this hate crime has used her platform to alert us to why violence against white people sparks more outrage than to people of colour. INTERSECTIONALITY.
- It’s very important for people in the West to consider that India’s decriminalisation of gay sex yesterday is a relinquishing of homophobic colonial laws that Britain brought over - it’s not of a country “catching up with the West,” but one undoing its conservative ideologies.

- Helen Joyce is literally on camera saying that “we should actively be reducing the number of people who transition because every trans person poses a problem to a sane world.” Whether or not you say this in a “mild-mannered” way, it’s still a profoundly chilling thought.

- Transgender people make up 0.6% of the population. A tiny fraction of the population - and one of the most vulnerable minority groups there is. And yet, an organised and financed lobby of cis women have made it their mission to make their lives hell. It's malicious and deranged.
- JK Rowling's blog was a hard read. And that's because it was filled with unsubstantiated claims that have no empirical evidence. As well as unashamed lies about the realities of the GRA, she disguises her deep lack of empathy for trans people with her 'I do have 1 trans friend!'
