- A stretch of the #A417 has been closed following a two vehicle collision near to Elkstone this morning (04/06). The road is currently blocked between Gloucester & Cirencester. Motorists are asked to plan their route in advance and avoid the area if possible.
UPDATE: the #A417 has now reopened in both directions between Gloucester and Cirencester following the earlier collision. We’d like to thank motorists for their patience whilst emergency services were at the scene. - Gloucestershire Constabulary reposted

Vehicles involved have been recovered, debris and spillage have been cleared. Residual delays of 30mins on the approach in both directions.
