- This is incredibly disappointing news to say the least from @MLS. Clubs like ours dream of the opportunity to compete against the top competition and have worked so hard to try and make that dream a reality. That dream is now shattered.NEW: On Friday afternoon, #MLS announced that it will have its Next Pro developmental teams participate in the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup instead of its first teams.
