    They call themselves the Eagles of Antioch,a dedicated group of volunteers who stand watch over Christian neighborhoods in Damascus from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Let’s honor their commitment and keep them in our prayers.

    This is Engie. She was getting ready for her middle school exam and stopped by Saint Elias Church to pray before the big day. She never made it out. She was killed in the terror attack.

    Currently, there are more than thirty churches in #Aleppo and around twenty thousand Christians from the #Greek Levantine Orthodox, Catholic, Syriac, and Armenian communities. The city is entirely under the control of jihadists. Please pray for their safety.

    From Saint Elias Church, our people stood in defiance. Voices raised in unison, chanting as the blood of the victims still stained the floor: Christ is risen! Their faith did not waver. Even in the face of terror, they proclaimed life over death, and hope over fear.
