    Those of us who support single-sex spaces recognise it's important for the meaning of sex to be clarified so that EA2010 can be correctly applied as it was originally intended. We feel it is vital for females' safety, dignity & fairness that they are protected on the basis of sex

    Activist, artist & Green councillor @CleoDanceBaton became Bristol Lord Mayor in 2018. One of her first actions? To remove a portrait of Edward Colston from her office✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽 For years she & @CounterColston campaigned for his statue to be removed. Thank you💚#BlackLivesMatter

    We watched in horror the heavy handed arrests last night.The silencing of women by authorities, plays heavily on our 💚& minds. We must commit to structural & legal changes, so that once again women are at the fore front of decision making. Time for collective action is needed!

    We have been recently informed by former committee members of Green Party Women (2019-20) that they were not aware of & did not sign off on the submission to the Scottish Government’s consultation on the Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill, which was submitted in our name.

    💚Green Party Women try to be positive on Twitter but this has not stopped attacks & we are now threatened with being shut down 🤍The majority of the GPW committee agreed to send this letter to all members 💜 Please keep all discussion respectful/GPEW values #TalkNotAttack
    The first 3 of the 4 photos show the letter sent by Zoe Hatch, co-chair of GPW, with the support of the majority of the GPW committee, to all members so that they know what is happening. The last photo is of the Green Women’s declaration banner which was vandalised on the last day of Brighton Conference.
