    BREAKING: Germany has just announced UNLIMITED public transport anywhere in the country will cost just £1.40 PER DAY. Officials say the policy is aimed at cutting CO2 emissions and helping with the cost of living. Anyone else think our government should do something similar?

    Amount of land in the UK taken up by: Golf courses = 1,256 km2 Solar farms = 230 km2 If government ministers want to put our land to better use, why don't they take a look at golf courses first?
