    Imagine if you will a scenario where a police officer gets kicked in the teeth, and the force does not pursue the perpetrator because nobody reported it. This is precisely analogous with the position @metpoliceuk have adopted regarding the misconduct of the former prime minister.

    I wonder if @metpoliceuk can confirm what the Home Secretary was saying before Christmas: that it is legal to use rohypnol at low dosage to keep people compliant and prevent them from running away. Please retweet if you want an answer.

    Ah no. It is not that the Church *thinks* they are extremists: they will have thought that for a long time, but the hurdle for them to speak out about it is massive. It is the fact that this government has taken them over that hurdle which speaks volumes.
