The "evacuation" of Rafah is illegal. There are no "humanitarian" or "safe zones." Civilians are being forcibly displaced to areas totally unsuitable to human habitation. This is a crime against humanity.

No—as others have noted, Israel has no right to defend itself against any attack in the Golan Heights, as the Golan Heights is not Israeli territory—it’s occupied Syrian territory. Israel’s annexation of the territory is unlawful under international law.

Israel has a right to defend itself after a Hezbollah attack seems to have killed 12 children and teenagers in Golan Heights. We’re all agreed, right? So, do the Palestinians have a right to defend themselves after more than 15,000 of their children were killed by Israel in Gaza?

Not a word for the 90 women and children released from Israeli prisons yesterday, where there were tortured & abused. Shatha Jarabaa (24) was imprisoned for a social media post. Aseel (17) was detained after being shot in the foot at a protest. Neither had been charged or tried.

I am relieved to hear that three hostages have been returned to Israel under the ceasefire agreement. But this is not the end. Hamas must release every hostage — including the body of Judih Weinstein to her family. More is needed and the ceasefire must be upheld to the fullest

This is exactly what the International Court of Justice found in July—that Israel has *already* annexed large parts of the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of the prohibition of the acquisition of territory by force. What we see now is an intensification of that process.
