#M1 northbound J27 to J28. #TrafficOfficers attended and stopped traffic, due to a family of ducks getting into the carriageway. Traffic Officers managed to save the ducklings, who are now being cared for in a place of safety, away from traffic. 🦆

The roundabout at #J15 #M1 (#A45 #Northampton #Wellingborough) has 2 lanes closed due to an LGV losing most of his load of #Monster energy drinks! Traffic Officers are currently at scene, Recovery & Maintenance Crews are on their way to the area to assist.

This driver decided to go through a closed area of the road and collided with one of our trucks. This is highly dangerous and a #HighwayCode offence. The driver was prosecuted, fined and got 3 points on their licence. 📣Slow down and follow the signs when you drive in roadworks

DUCK WARS - Part 2 - The Mallard's return. ...The ducks are back in the central reservation, #M1 southbound between J19 and J18. We have set reduced speeds in case they re-enter the live lanes. Please exercise caution driving through this area.
