- Lastly we are honored and thankful for Coach Gary Patterson for allowing us to recognize him in naming our Western KS Coach of the Year award after him. @TCUCoachP

- We would like to think the family of Brook Berringer for allowing us to honor him by naming our Western KS 11-Man Player of The Year award after him.
- This is why Western Kansas is a special place!!Special moment before kickoff tonight in Ness City. Wichita County football players present the Ness City team with money they helped raise for Bowen Hoss, a Ness City player who has been hospitalized since Sept. 20 with a brain injury. Awesome gesture from the Indians.
