(1/3) ⚠️ In an effort to limit the number of people on campus for the remainder of the semester, Humber will be suspending all classes for the week of March 16 – 20. From March 23 to April 17, Humber will be moving to remote delivery of classes, wherever possible.

All Humber campuses and the U of Guelph-Humber are closed today (Feb12) due to inclement weather. Day and evening classes are cancelled. Services are closed. The Child Development Centre at North is closed. Residence, L Bldg at Lake and LRC 3rd floor North are open.

Our North Campus residence will be used this summer to help new refugee claimants have safe & supportive temporary housing. We expect that approx 400 refugee claimants will be staying in residence from June until August, with the first group arriving on June 1. #WeAreHereToHelp

All Humber campuses & Guelph-Humber will close today at 12:30. All classes will be cancelled & all services closed at that time. Faculty are asked to use discretion re. dismissal time for classes still in progress at 12:30. We expect to open as usual Thursday.

CEC & OPSEU have reached an agreement to enter binding interest arbitration & the strike that was scheduled to commence on Mar. 18 is called off. This also includes all work-to-rule strike activities. All Humber classes & activities will continue as scheduled on Fri., Mar. 18.
