    The IAS Association strongly condemns the behaviour of Collector Surajpur, Chhattisgarh. It is unacceptable & against the basic tenets of the service & civility. Civil servants must have empathy & provide a healing touch to society at all times, more so in these difficult times.

    Ashok Chakra awardee late Sri Hemant Karkare, IPS made the supreme sacrifice fighting terrorists. Those of us in uniform condemn the insulting statement made by a candidate and demand that sacrifices of all our martyrs be respected.

    We condole the sad and tragic demise of Chief of Defence Staff & Secretary, Deptt of Military Affairs, Gen Bipin Rawat, his spouse and 11 armed forces personnel in a helicopter crash. Nation has lost a brave soldier. Our condolences to the family members.

    @IASassociation decides to contribute Rs. 21 lakhs to the PM-CARES Fund as its initial contribution to combat COVID 19. All members to contribute at least a day’s salary also. We shall leave no stone unturned to ensure that we win this fight against #COVID19. WE SHALL OVERCOME.

    People from all walks of life expressed their desire to donate to India’s war against COVID-19. Respecting that spirit, the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund has been constituted. This will go a long way in creating a healthier India.
